We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our company to everyone at Sacred Heart Catholic School. SLA Management is an Orlando based school lunch management company. We provide managed school lunch programs at private Christian schools throughout Central and Northern Florida. We currently serve 12 Diocesan schools throughout Florida.

We are pleased to announce that we have been selected to manage a hot lunch program at Sacred Heart Catholic School for the 2006-2007 school year. Every school day we prepare and serve on-site a balanced and nutritious hot lunch for the students and staff at your school. All of our hot lunches meet or exceed the National School Lunch standards for daily meal requirements of protein, vegetable, fruit, dairy and grain. We use only high quality, name brand food products in our lunches.  Our lunch programs are designed to be a healthy and positive experience for the students and administration of your school

LUNCH TICKETS:  Our lunches are priced at $3.25 per meal which includes a full lunch and beverage choice of milk or water. We also offer a healthy choice salad (chef, chicken, Caesar) on select days with a beverage for the same price. We utilize only lunch tickets which can be purchased in books of five for $16.25 and can be used any day during the school year.  Tickets may be purchased by sending payment with an order form in an envelope marked “lunch tickets” with your child to turn in to his/her teacher in the morning.  Tickets will be issued to students with assistance from their teachers (younger grades).  Our lunch manager will work directly with parents and teachers in these grades. We accept checks or cash for the purchase of ticket books. Checks should be made payable to SLA Management.  Those students bringing lunch from home may purchase beverages on a daily basis for .50 cents.  There is no special form for beverage purchases so please submit payment in an envelope marked “beverage” and the child’s name and he/she will be added to the beverage list that day. 

LUNCH MENU:  We will publish a monthly lunch menu which will be sent home in the middle of the preceding month and posted on the school website. No advance ordering is necessary. A simple show of hands during morning role call will provide us with that day’s estimated lunch count. We will always prepare more food than is estimated to allow for late arrivals and other occurrences. In the event a student honestly forgets their lunch ticket, we will allow for a lunch charge on the honor code. We will never deny a student the opportunity to have a daily hot lunch.

ALLERGIES: SLA Management is sensitive to the needs of all students with allergies; however we cannot be absolutely certain that all food products are free of potential allergens, notably peanut or peanut related products. If a student has a severe allergy we strongly advise you consider other lunch options.
